Article

Cochise College is opening its doors to the community for Family Night at the Douglas Campus, a free celebration filled with festive activities and local performances. The event takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 3, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Union, 4190 West Highway 80.

Families, children and community members are invited to kick off the evening with warm posole, photos with Mr. And Mrs. Claus and a variety of arts and crafts stations and activities. Students from Paul Huber Middle School will entertain attendees with folklorico dances.

Sports fans will also have the opportunity to meet Cochise College athletes and cheer at a home basketball game starting at 7 p.m. Representatives from the Student Government Association, Adult Education, and Residential Life & Housing will be available to provide information and answer questions for those interested in learning more about the college.

“Family Night is one of the best opportunities for the community to come together. Last year, we had an incredible turnout,” said Abe Villarreal, Dean of the Douglas Campus. “We’re inviting families to come enjoy the activities and make memories with us.”
